This Alligator Was Photographed At Sam D. Hamilton Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge Located outside of Starkville, the refuge is one of the northernmost Mississippi places to see alligators. The Lifespan can average from 35-50 years and can range Up to 12-15 ft in length, 450 to 600 in weight. The refuge covers 48,000 acres and provides a safe habitat for wildlife there.
Jordan Hill is a self-taught award winning wildlife and landscape photographer born and raised in Guntown, Mississippi. He first got into photography a few years ago while vacationing. Photography soon became his passion. He started selling his photographs in April of 2019. He has since had his work published inside and on the cover of Several magazines. His work has been featured all over the United States in various articles and blogs. Jordan lives in Guntown with his wife and his two lovely daughters.
