Ducklings are ready to leave the nest within hours of hatching. Baby ducks can swim almost right away. They spend only a day in the nest before they are following their mothers into the water. They are also able to feed themselves almost right away.

Jordan Hill is a self-taught award winning wildlife and landscape photographer born and raised in Guntown, Mississippi. He first got into photography a few years ago while vacationing. Photography soon became his passion. He started selling his photographs in April of 2019. He has since had his work published inside and on the cover of Several magazines. His work has been featured all over the United States in various articles and blogs. Jordan lives in Guntown with his wife and his two lovely daughters.
